Looking 4 ink in all the wrong PlacesFeb 01, 2012
By Roxanne I bought a pkg of six 100 ml. bottles of sublimation ink for Epson from this seller(Dinsink) to work in my Epson Stylus 1400 (mfg. Double2house). I bought a CISS specifically for this ink with cost me $39.98. The ink clogged my printer every time I'd print anything. I'd have to run a cleaning cycle about 10 - 20 times each time I printed anything, even if I'd just finally gotten a decent pic. I'm sure my Epson is now full of this old looking sublimation ink. It cost me a tech supoport vist which was a bargain at $79.00 to let me know I had "Bad Ink". This ink clogs. When it does print, the colors are dull, very untrue to the pic & definitely not anything my customers would pay money for. This is definitely not good ink & they claimed it was comparable to sawgrass. The seller is refunding my payment but it doesn't come close to the actual cost I incurred from ruining sublimation blanks, sublimation paper, my printer repair costs & a now unusable CISS. I thought I'd get a bargain & bought cheap ink, what I actually got was a fist full of trouble & a hand full of bills. Thank goodness there is good sublimation ink on the market. I was able to buy more ink at a slightly higher initial cost but the difference in quality is unimaginable. I now have crisp, clear & clean photos ready to be sublimated.
